Russian tennis star Andrey Rublev, the 2020 Olympic champion and winner of 20 ATP titles, has shared his expectations for the Indian Wells tournament in the USA, which will be held from March 5th to 16th.
“My favorite things about Indian Wells? It’s the views, I don’t know, the nights, the jacuzzi. Favorite food in Indian Wells? I don’t even know, barbecue. Also late in the evening (laughs), after the jacuzzi (laughs). What am I most looking forward to this year at Indian Wells? Barbecue at night and jacuzzi late at night (laughs),” Rublev said in a video from the tournament press service.
Andrey Rublev recently had an unsuccessful performance at the ATP 500 tournament in Dubai, UAE. In the first round match, the world number nine lost to France’s Quentin Halys, ranked 77th, with a score of 6-3, 4-6, 6-7(5).
