Former Manchester United chief executive Ed Woodward is in talks to join a company connected to the Premier League.
Woodward departed Manchester United in 2022 after serving the club for nine years.

He re-entered the football sphere last year, becoming a Board of Trustees member for the Bloomsbury Football Foundation, a charity supporting young people from diverse backgrounds.
Now, a significant opportunity may be on the horizon with a company that holds a partial ownership stake in a Premier League team.
According to reports, Eagle Football Holdings has approached Woodward to become an independent director.
The company, under the control of American businessman John Textor, is reportedly preparing for a US stock market listing.
Eagle Football currently possesses a 45 percent stake in Premier League club Crystal Palace.
While the company has considered selling this stake, Crystal Palace’s strong performance in the league might lead them to retain it.
They also have an ownership stake in Ligue 1 side Olympique Lyonnais.
Woodward initially joined Manchester United in 2005, playing a crucial role in the Glazer family’s acquisition of the club.
He assumed the position of executive vice-chairman in 2013, succeeding David Gill as CEO.
During his tenure, he significantly increased the financial value of Manchester United.
