Trainer Rob McCracken believes Lauren Price is capable of becoming the undisputed welterweight world champion in her upcoming bout, which would be only her tenth professional fight.

Price achieved a significant win against Natasha Jonas at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday night. The Olympic gold medalist added the IBF and WBC belts to her WBA title, unifying three world championships.

Mikaela Mayer, the WBO welterweight world champion, is scheduled to fight Sandy Ryan in Las Vegas on March 30.

Price aims to face the winner of that match for the undisputed championship. McCracken is confident in Price’s readiness to take on and win this challenge, despite her relatively short professional career of nine fights.

“There’s no doubt about it, absolutely none,” McCracken stated to Sky Sports. “She is exceptionally talented and has been victorious in every level of boxing she has competed in so far.”

He highlighted Price’s hand speed, diverse attack angles, and confidence. McCracken emphasized the remarkable progress Price has made in her professional career in a short period.

“I believe Lauren will become undisputed champion and will be a formidable opponent for any boxer for a long time,” McCracken added.

The victory over Jonas, a unified world champion in two weight classes, marked a major milestone for the Welsh Olympic gold medalist.

McCracken acknowledged the difficulty of all fights at this level and praised Jonas’s performance and dedication over many years. He also recognized Jonas’s trainer, Joe Gallagher, for her excellent preparation.

He concluded by saying, “Lauren can continue her journey, participate in numerous world title fights like Natasha, achieve undisputed status, and accomplish even more in boxing.”
