World No. 11 Mirra Andreeva discussed beginning her professional career at a young age.
– Earlier in the year, you mentioned feeling like a child sometimes. Is it tough to miss out on typical teenage experiences?
– I think my mom feels it more. She sees me growing older and becoming a woman, and it’s hard for her. To my family, I’ll always be their little girl, little Mirra. For me, it’s not too difficult because I still feel like myself. I can still be playful and joke around, but I can also be serious, especially on the court,” Andreeva stated.
