British boxing stars Natasha Jonas and Lauren Price are set to clash in a highly anticipated world title unification bout. This three-belt welterweight championship fight will headline a major all-women’s boxing event at the Royal Albert Hall.
Fight Details
The Jonas vs. Price fight is scheduled for Friday, March 7th.
Both fighters secured victories in their respective world title matches in December, paving the way for this unification showdown.
The event will be broadcast live on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Action, with coverage beginning at 7pm UK time.
Expect the main event ring walks to commence around 10pm UK time.
Championships on the Line
Natasha Jonas enters the ring as the unified WBC and IBF welterweight world champion, having defeated Ivana Habazin in her previous fight. She will defend these titles against Price, who holds the WBA welterweight world title. All three belts will be contested in this unification fight.
While Lauren Price is an Olympic gold medalist and a world champion in the professional ranks, she is still in the early stages of her professional career. This fight against Jonas is a significant opportunity for Price to elevate her status and move closer to her ambition of competing for the undisputed world title.
In contrast, the experienced Natasha Jonas, at 40, is approaching the twilight of her career. She aims to solidify her legacy, secure another major win, and add more world titles to her collection.
Venue: Royal Albert Hall
The historic Royal Albert Hall will host this momentous fight night.
While boxing events have become less frequent at the Royal Albert Hall in recent years, it remains a prestigious venue with a rich boxing history.
Boxing at the Albert Hall dates back to 1918, and legendary fighters such as Georges Carpentier, Muhammad Ali, and Henry Cooper have graced its ring.

Fighters’ Statements
Lauren Price stated, “Since turning professional after the Olympics, my goal has been to achieve greatness. This all-British unification fight, Wales versus England for three world titles, will solidify my legacy and prove I am the best in the division.”
Price confidently added, “I believe I am too young, too quick, and too skilled for Natasha Jonas, and I will bring those belts back to Wales.”
Natasha Jonas countered, “Lauren Price has generated a lot of hype, but I think this fight is a step too far for her. I have competed in major fights against world champions and Olympic medalists, but she has never faced a professional boxer like me.”
Jonas remarked on Price’s confidence, “She keeps making bold statements, but she’s putting pressure on herself to deliver.”
What’s Next?
Both Jonas and Price have expressed their ambition to become undisputed world champion.
The winner of this fight will hold three of the four major welterweight world titles. The remaining WBO title is currently held by Mikaela Mayer of America, who previously defeated Jonas in a close decision earlier in 2024.
Mayer is scheduled to fight Sandy Ryan in a rematch on March 30 in Las Vegas.
A unification fight between the winner of Jonas-Price and the winner of Mayer-Ryan would be a logical next step.
Watch Natasha Jonas vs Lauren Price live on Sky Sports on Friday, March 7th.
