Sir Jim Ratcliffe is exploring the possibility of ending Manchester United’s 10-year lease for their London offices in Kensington.
Since becoming a co-owner last February, Ratcliffe has implemented several cost-cutting measures at the club.

Approximately 250 employees have already been laid off, and more job losses are expected in the coming weeks.
Ratcliffe also plans to stop free lunches for staff at Old Trafford and reduce food options at Carrington to just soup and sandwiches.
Amid ongoing challenges at Manchester United, both on and off the field, the British billionaire is now considering further ways to save money.
It has been reported that Ratcliffe and his team are looking into an early exit from the 10-year lease agreement for their London offices.
Manchester United’s London office is situated in Kensington, which is near Kensington Palace.
The club moved into this location less than two years ago after their previous 10-year lease in Mayfair expired.
However, Ratcliffe believes most club employees should be based in Manchester, considering the 23,000-square-foot London office space too large and expensive.
In the recent “transformation plan,” Manchester United stated their commitment to maintaining a presence in London.
Man Utd’s current Kensington office building is located close to the Ineos headquarters in Knightsbridge.
However, this proximity is unlikely to influence Ratcliffe’s decision-making.
Currently, Manchester United is in 14th place in the Premier League table with 33 points from 27 matches.
