World No. 11 Stefanos Tsitsipas has commented on his victory over Matteo Berrettini in the quarter-finals of the Dubai tournament (7/6(5), 1/6, 6/4). This win marks the first time the Greek player has reached the top four since July.
“I am very happy to have gone this far. I know that I have been showing good tennis on my way to this stage, and that’s why I am smiling.”
“The match was uneven. In the first set, I played great, but in the second, I lost focus. I don’t really understand how I managed to win in the end, because during the game I had to go through a lot of psychological battles,” – Tsitsipas is quoted by the official ATP website.
