Greek tennis player Stefanos Tsitsipas, now ranked world No. 11, shared his thoughts on winning the ATP 500 tournament final in Dubai, UAE. In the final match, he defeated Canadian player Felix Auger-Aliassime.
The match concluded with a score of 6-3, 6-3. This victory propels Tsitsipas back into the top 10 of the global rankings, where he will now hold the 9th position.
“We play tennis for moments like these. Being in the top 10 of the world ranking is one of the best feelings a tennis player can experience,” Tsitsipas stated after the match.
“Achieving this requires hard work and sacrifice. I am incredibly happy and ready to celebrate,” he added.
