New video has surfaced, potentially explaining why Alejandro Garnacho headed straight to the tunnel after being substituted.
The young Argentine winger was taken off by the manager after Patrick Dorgu of Ipswich Town received a red card towards the end of the first half.

The manager chose to substitute Garnacho with Noussair Mazraoui to strengthen the team’s defense.
This decision was met with boos from the home fans at Old Trafford and was criticized as “garbage” on social media.
Garnacho, 20, also seemed displeased with being substituted, walking directly to the tunnel.
This happened even though halftime was just moments away.
However, a video circulating on social media leads fans to believe they know the real reason Garnacho left the field.
In the video, Garnacho can be seen gesturing with his hands while walking off.
Fans speculate that he was indicating to the staff that he needed to change his jersey because it was soaked from the heavy rain.
One fan commented, “Alejandro Garnacho signaled he was changing his shirt before heading straight down the tunnel.”
Another added, “It was a wet shirt.”
A third person wrote, “I don’t get why he didn’t just get a jacket and wait til half time lol. But cool.”
Despite this explanation, some fans remain unconvinced, especially since Garnacho posted a photo on Instagram showing his displeasure after being substituted.

He later followed up with a more upbeat image on social media, showing the team celebrating.
Ipswich Town initially took the lead at Old Trafford within the first four minutes, capitalizing on errors from Andre Onana and Dorgu.
Manchester United equalized with an own goal from Sam Morsy, and then took the lead with a goal from Matthijs de Ligt.
Jaden Philogene scored again, leveling the score for Ipswich Town.
Ultimately, Harry Maguire scored the winning goal for Manchester United early in the second half.
Garnacho’s season at Old Trafford has been inconsistent, mirroring the team’s overall performance.
He has scored only three Premier League goals in 26 appearances.
Club legend Roy Keane has commented on Garnacho’s recent form, suggesting he is better suited as a substitute.
Keane believes Garnacho is not yet “trusted” enough to start regularly and is more effective coming off the bench.
Rio Ferdinand, in contrast, has praised Garnacho for showing more “courage” than many of his teammates.
In the post-match press conference, the manager was asked about Garnacho’s attitude.
He responded, “You are making a connection with Rashford, right? I know, I know.”
“What I’m saying is I’m going to talk obviously with Garnacho about that [going down the tunnel].”
“So I will talk about that if you want in the next press conference.”
Meanwhile, a moment from the game involving Rasmus Hojlund has also drawn criticism from fans.
Hojlund attempted a dummy pass, but the ball went to no teammate.
